You Rescued Me is a song about how we were all alone but now God has come to rescue us
This song is based off of Psalm 142:3 TPT. For when I was desperate, overwhelmed, and about to give up, you were the only one there to help. You gave me a way of escape from the hidden traps of my enemies. I wrote this song a few months ago right before I had to have an unexpected surgery. Writing this song helped me work through the emotions I was dealing with and overcome the anxiety and fear I had. The verse reminded me that God is always there to rescue me, even when I am feeling helpless or overwhelmed. We all get to the point of desperation and no one is immune to hard times. It can be difficult to remember God hears us and is there for us, especially when he's being quiet, but we need to call out to Him and remember that he is there to comfort and protect us.
