This is a little background about my first love song.
I've been asked if I wrote this song about somebody I had a crush on. I was only 12 when I wrote it and I didn't understand the true meaning of love. I actually wrote this song for the children's pastor at our church. She had always really enjoyed my music, she asked me to sing one of my songs with my friend at her wedding. I decided to write her a new song for her special day.
This song came to me easily. I remembered in my dad's phone my mom's name is My Love so I decided to start there. I finished writing it in only one night. I got to surprise Pastor Shelly with the new song for her birthday. On her wedding day I got to perform it with my best friend wile my brother played the drums. It's always been a huge hit.
